Vegas Billiards Tour Player Ratings >>
(determined by Las Vegas Ratings Committee)

NEW AND UPDATED PLAYERS ARE IDENTIFIED IN RED.

In an effort to avoid any pre-tournament controversy, the ratings committee will not accept any Rating Appeal Forms or lower any player's rating within 30 days prior to any "Major" event. However, if a player has received a rating that is far below their true playing ability, whether it was by accident or from sandbagging, the Ratings Committee reserves the right to vote on and/or change a player's rating at any time.

Structure of Vegas Billiards Tour

Mission
The mission of the Vegas Billiards Tour is to create a competitive tour for all levels of amateur players in a fun atmosphere. Stops will consist of a variety of host locations in Las Vegas. Qualified players will be eligible to play in the “Final Event” at the end of the season.

Who Can Play
VBT is open to ALL amateur players.

Ratings
Handicap ratings are determined by several Las Vegas handicap rating systems with the “Vegas Billiards Tour Ratings” as the universal guideline. VBT reserves the right to choose any handicap rating. In the event that a player is completely unknown, they will start with the rating of 9.

Sign-ups
Early registration for an event is not required. Sign-ups and entry fees are accepted up to 15 minutes prior to the event start time. VBT will accept email registrations at registration@vegasbilliardstour.com , but entry fees still need to be paid before event start time.

Entry Fees
All entry fees include green fees.

Money Added
All stops will have money added. The “Final Event” added money is TBD.

Cell Phones and Other Devices
Talking on a phone during a match is prohibited. Listening to an iPod or similar device is permitted unless abused.

Score Keeping
It is the responsibility of the players to keep score of their own match, no one else’s.

Calling a Shot to be Watched
It is the responsibility of the non-shooting player to call a third party (of SL 8 or higher) before any controversial shot is attempted. Shooting player must wait for the third party to arrive before attempting the shot. The decision of the third party is final. If a third party is not called to watch the shot, it is the shooter’s call.

Reporting Match Results
It is the responsibility of the winner of a match to report the final score of the match to the tournament director IMMEDIATELY following the conclusion of the match.

Forfeits
Players will have 15 minutes to report to a match table after it is called or the player will forfeit that match. In the interest of good sportsmanship, and because match times are sometimes not scheduled but rather play is continuous, should your opponent not be at the table within 5 minutes of your match being called, it will be your responsibility to report your opponent missing to the tournament director. At the point that you notify the tournament director, your opponent will be place on the clock with 10 minutes remaining, and the tournament director will try to locate your opponent. If you fail to notify the tournament director that your opponent is not at the table, it will not be a forfeit.

Shot Clock Usage
Due to time constraints – a match will be put on a shot clock if it is determined as necessary by the Tournament Director.

Rules
VBT utilizes BCAPL rules for all games.

Point System
VBT utilizes a point system to qualify players for the “Final Event” at the end of the season.

Best Attendance
Players with perfect attendance of all stops will be placed in a drawing at the “Final Event” for $100 cash prize.

Vegas Billiards Tour Champion
The player with the most points at the end of the season after the “Final Event” will be crowned the year's Vegas Billiards Tour Champion and receive a FREE entry to one of the stops the following year. In case of a tie in points by 2 players, one even race to 7 in 9-ball will be played. In case of a tie in points by multiple players, a mini-tournament with specifics TBD will be played.
